My very first manga I was into. Get hooked to this funny Rumiko Takahashi's creation in 1994. It is one of the weirdest and funniest manga up to date. Its about Ranma who had a very bad encounter during training stint with his father Genma in China. He came back from China and met Akane Tendo, his new fiancee from the arrange marriage made by his father. Things are getting messier whenever Ranma touches cold water, he becomes a girl! So do his father, Genma to a panda! However they could turn back to their ownselves using hot water. It seems to be they were cursed by the ancient wells in China. How could Akane, who is very strong character herself could take Ranma as her husband? Things get worst when more characters came into this multiple love triangles? There are characters that turn to a black pig, duck, cat and a few more.

Ranma's anime is the same as the manga with additional fillers as well. The anime at first a bit lengthly but later on they speed up the story.
