SPAIN the New EURO Champ! Euro 2008: Spain 1-0 Germany

*Fernando "El Nino" Torres scored the only goal

Few things I must say about this Euro 2008. First of all, there is never such entertaining football since god knows when. There are so many attacking footballs, and you have plenty of goals in this tourney. Second, without England I think its a blessing in disguise. The emergence of Holland could means a better upcoming World Cup? Russia and Turkey did very well onto semis.

For a very rare occasion like this I could only go out with my mates for a nice football match together. With Talen, Hai Wei, Sam, Tim and me watching the game, nothing could be better. For the game, I think Germany got nothing to complain. They never really had a real chance throughout the game. Even though Spain scored the only goal in the game but the actual fact they should have scored more. Germany looked weak in midfield, lost possessions easily. It is one of the great finals I have watched. Spain deserved to be the winner. For a country with such a great league like La Liga with teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid, they deserved a cup like this for many many years.

The Shark Fin Soup

This is how it looks like in a Chinese wedding dinner....
* As many as 40 sharks are killed for a Chinese Wedding. Give the sharks a chance. Give up shark fin soup. www.seashepherd.org

I don't who created this shark fin soup but I guess it has been the menu for Chinese wedding for very very long time. During the old days, if a wedding doesn't include shark fin, guests will say its a cheapo wedding dinner. Well being expensive is not really that much problem, but to sharks it is a huge problem.

According to wildlife conservationists, much of the trade in sharks' fins is derived from fins cut from living sharks; this process is called finning.[17] Because shark meat is worth much less, the finless and often still-living sharks are thrown back into the sea to make room on board the ship for more of the valuable fins.[17] When returned to the ocean, the finless sharks, unable to move, either die from suffocation or are consumed by other sharks or animals. Numbers of some shark species have dropped as much as 80% over the last 50 years. - Wikipedia

Think twice when attending a Chinese wedding and boycott Shark fin or else we won't see any sharks anymore in the future...

Kung Fu Panda, since when Panda knows Kung Fu??

So what's go great about Panda knows Kung Fu? That's what I thought when the teaser started like last year or so. Minus me, the crowd loved the teaser... I wonder...

Maybe people like panda, or maybe like fat creature... maybe like the size something like me??
I wonder...

The movie came out 1-2 weeks ago... Friends watched it and said it was damn nice... I was like er... ? Ok.... So I took sometime and watched on Tuesday...

I finally understand why... Everyone loves Kung Fu fighting! The story itself is quite interesting revolves animal kingdom of China. Its a fantasy kingdom where a noodle selling Panda wanna be a kung fu warrior. So one day when there's a sign dat the baddest dude is coming back for revenge, the Grandmaster Turtle decided to pass on the Dragon Scroll to a Dragon Warrior. The dragon scroll is the greatest Kung Fu scroll in the universe and accidentally, Panda is chosen as the Dragon Warrior. So this fat Panda now is chosen to be the greatest warrior of the kingdom awaits the baddest warrior.

Jack Black's panda is an authentic laughing machine, well of course later on he turned to a fighting machine... There's a lot of laughter in the movie... and its a great movie for everyone especially for the family.... From how the story revolves, I don't think there's a part 2...

Blast from the past: The day I stepped into Australia...

QVB: Queen Victoria Building
City Hall on the left of QVB....

On 22nd July 2001, I reached Sydney, Australia. That was like around 7 years ago and it was something that I couldn't forget.

Why I would blog about this if you ask me? I was basically been trying to backup many old files from one hard drive to another and found a lot of old pictures. I'm talking about nice and sweet old pictures...

Back to Sydney story.. my cousin, Sherry and her husband Andre picked us up from the airport and we went to Broadway to put our stuffs. Then, we out for Vietnamese dinner near Chinatown and we walked around the city. Thinking back really makes me missed Sydney so badly... Of course I missed my cousin as well.

Sydney was busy like KL. The difference was it was winter when I was there and there are more Caucasians there. The Asian mixtures were amazing. I remember I spent around 1k for the first week in Australia. Actually it was more than 1k. There are lots of nice foods there but quite pricy if you convert to ringgit now. I don't mind going back for a long break, but looking at the forex, I rather stick to places like LA or even my dream place, Japan.

As amazing as I'm doing this like 1.30 am as I have to wake up like 5.30 am for my shoot in the morning, I enjoyed my moments in Sydney. I wouldn't say the grass is greener on the other side, but its just a different grass on the other side but its still the same shit.

Moving into a NEW CHALLENGE....

Salsa Buddies and Friends: Lena, Me, Tony Tiger, Rachel

I was introduced into Salsa Dancing 2 years back and I was very reluctant to join at first. To me, I was like, how the hell can I do that? Me and Rachel decided to give it a try. For almost more than a year after learning salsa, we were close with a bunch of great Salsa friends. It was one of the greatest moments in our life just to think about it. As time passed by, we questioned ourselves on our motive in learning salsa. For that, we left our previous Salsa Studio to Havana Estudio.

Things were pretty tough at that time, we needed to relearn everything again at Havana Estudio. The reason was plain simple: different techniques, moves, shines as well as styling. The group then broken to few pieces. Mike and Stephanie at that time, decided to take a break. Derek went to other studio due to location and a few decided to quit. At that time, it left 4 of us, Tony, Lena, Rachel and me.... We relearn everything from scratch again....

After a solid 8 months plus, we gone thru Beginner 1&2 and Improver 1&2. We were promoted to Intermediate classes yesterday. I never dare to say I'm very good right now but a few things here and there I might be better. Learning and dancing is 2 different things so I still struggle on dance floor due to lack of social dancing. Dancing with different partners are always a challenge, I "could" be an expert in class but I can still be a beginner at social dancing. I'm still shying in dancing with strangers in clubs still...

Moving into Intermediate classes will be the biggest challenge we are going to face... There were lots of quitters before us as told by Aishah, our instructor. Now, I feel that we have already gone so far, there are no looking back anymore... We are delighted with what we have learned and we enjoyed every part and bits of it... Salsa.....

Finally, I met Kenny Sia

I know about blogging few years back in 2004 and I felt it was too boring at that time. As time passed by, friends have been telling me about blogging, I still don't really care about it.

Until at one time, few blogger friends have been saying about this Kenny Sia, a celebrity blogger. I was wondering, how can a blogger be a celebrity? Well, I read his blog, and I find it something different. Funny and entertaining.

From there onwards, my perception towards blogging is a bit different. I'm might write my way as I am because who I am but at least I know this is my blog. Kenny Sia inspired quite a number of "young" bloggers to blog and meeting in person is kinda give me a great deal of surprise.
He is not really kinda my idol but I respect him as a great blogger. I still remember he did the blog about the China telephone scam as well as the edited version of Avril Lavigne "Girlfriend" for Malaysian politics video.

So I was at Newman 5th Anni Launch with clients and friends and I was like, its that KENNY SIA? So I went there and talked to him. I told him I'm a big fan of his, he smiled. I asked him whether he knew a blogger by the name of superwilson or superwilson.blogspot.com, he said "NO". I told him its okay, but I mentioned to him I kinda chat a bit in his chatbox. We took a picture and he left with a smile. He's a nice guy....

I wasn't that disappointed with him for not knowing me as I seldom social with bloggers on events and such. Hopefully, he can remember that there is a blogger by the nick of "Superwilson"....

Nuffnangs pays me RM 121.08

In such bad times, petrol price increase and so on, we need money. So at this time around, I received a cheque from Nuffnangs for paying me RM 121.08. Well, the amount is not huge, but at least it makes my day for a day or two. Credits must go to them for advertising in my blog even though I know I deserve more advertisements. Anyways, I must thank Nuffnangs for the decent pay for a small fellow blogger like me. Thanks.

Get Smart Review

I still remember the old Get Smart a bit, pretty stupid and you can hear background old school people laughing. Steve Carrell, the "40 year old virgin" guy this time around plays Smart. With my fav actor, Dwayne Johnson "the Rock" as Agent 23 and of course the sexy Anna Hathaway as Agent 99. There's lots of fun going thru this movie and things that made this "comedy". I think its an enjoyable movie, adults or even for family. One thing for sure, you have to really Get Smart....

New Digital Camera Sony DSC-W110 Black :)

After getting my DSC-P100 broken with dirty lens and malfunction flash, I decided to get a new one. Well, of course when the repairing bill comes close to RM 500, I know its time to get a new one.

Getting a camera is so easy, its everywhere. I spotted this lil' baby, DSC-W110 with HD capability plus here and there only around RM 700. Without thinking much, I bought the camera. This lil' fella has 7.2 MP, 4x Optical, ISO 3200, HD 1080 and Carl Zeiss lens. Of course, its black in color as well.

If you guys asking why am I not getting a better camera, I have a Canon D-20 at home, too huge and bulky for my liking.

It's a SONY....

No why to STUPIDITY....

There is one or maybe few times in a year you tend to do stupid stuffs. Not really like you want to do it but you just ending up doing it.

Well, yesterday I am a victim of my own stupidity. I was basically in my shower, trying to get "Green tea shower scrub". When I was trying to hard, it basically it hit my right eye. Well, now I'm in discomfort of my right after minutes of water washing and Eye-Mo and now Eye Glow washing. I will go to the doc in a bit. I'm not taking any further risks.

I guess sometimes you don't get stupid just Stupid gets u.....

*Just came back from doc. Got infection, burn and swelling to my right eye. Took medicine and it should heal by today. Thank godness I went to see a doc...

The Incredible Hulk 2008!

Since Marvel studio took over some part of the film productions like Ironman, the movie becomes much interesting and entertaining. Same goes to Incredible Hulk. I didn't watched the Ang Lee's version as many were complaining about it. Many said this will be bored but actually it didn't. In fact the story is deeper than Ironman. The pace of the story is good and it is damn entertaining. Lots of actions! The romance part between Edward Norton and Liv Tyler also plays a part in the movie. Its a good movie to watch, more for comic fans... but its worth it...

My younger brother, Chun Seong did some modelling in this movie so he is credited at the end like AVP 2 and Jumper. He did the helicopters and some other effects in the movie. His name appeared under Hydraulix under modeler. I had to wait for good old 5-7 mins to see his name. I am very proud of him.

The Happening Movie Review

I must first thanks Miss Mynx for the premiere tickets so I can watch The Happening so I can become "happening". The comeback for both Mark Walberg and Night Shyamalan is one to watch indeed. Remember the old Shyamalan movies where you have to wait till the end to see "whats going on". This one is a bit different though. The phenomenon started just started at the beginning the movie. It revolves a couple well of course, Mark and his wife trying to break or run away from the "happening". There isn't much I can tell because its better for you to watch for yourself. Critics have been critical at Shyamalan's recent movies but well to me, he's still the man. Bottom line is, I still have deep thoughts after watching the whole thing.... Its a M. Night Shyamalan's movie anyways....

10 years in the making

* SW, Jason, Jon....

Approx. 10 years ago, when I was in LICT, I shared a rented room. Well, although it was for a few months but it was quite cool back then. I bumped to him on Facebook with Jonathan as well who stayed at the opposite house of our rented room. Jason was staying with me. So we chilled out somewhere in Hartamas and the group had 15 jugs of beer. It was a long time since I met them but.... its never too late. Its 10 years in the making....
