An "English" Champions League Final...

Man Utd has made it into final to a very much "English" Champions League Final. Love it or hate it, EPL has evolved to such strong position in Euro that they have 3 English teams in the semis. The days of Italians or Spanish giants dominations are finally over. In this past few years, English teams are getting more places at semis and finals than ever before. Tonight's Chelsea and Liverpool game will be an explosive one. My bet will be still on Liverpool. We will see an offensive Liverpool tonight and hope for the dream final: Liverpool Vs. Man Utd. You never walk alone!

Mahkota Cheras Issue DEEPENS??

Thursday April 24, 2008 [The STAR]
Drama unfolds as cops step in to block road

MORE drama unfolded at Bandar Mahkota Cheras yesterday when the Kajang police temporarily closed the controversial road offering toll-free access to the Cheras-Kajang Highway.

Several patrol cars were used to block the road under the flyover leading to the Cheras 11th Mile toll plaza from 8am to 9.50am. This led to a large group of angry residents gathering at the site to protest the move.
No through road: Police officers were at the junction at 8am to close the road.

Cheras MP Tan Kok Wai, who arrived at the scene at 9am, called Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Shakaruddin Che Mood to seek an explanation.

“I have spoken to the OCPD and he said it was done to protect road users’ safety as the traffic lights at the junction have not been synchronised.

“The police fear accidents may occur,” Tan said.

He appealed to ACP Shakaruddin to allow residents to use the road for another day, pending the outcome of the survey to determine who has the right of way over the road at a meeting at Menara MPKj in Kajang at 3pm.

Police personnel later removed their vehicles to allow motorists to pass through.
Temporary measure: (From left) Seri Kembangan assemblyman Ean Yong Hian Wah, Tan, Serdang MP Teo Nie Chin, Hulu Langat MP Che Rosli Che Mat and PAS representative Mohd Sany Hamzan trying to calm the residents.

The access road built by Bandar Mahkota Cheras developer Narajaya Sdn Bhd was opened in September 2005 and closed soon after by highway concessionaire Grand Saga Sdn Bhd, who cited a loss of toll collection as the reason for the closure.

On Monday, residents defied an order from the Selangor government and opened the road.

The government had wanted a survey to be carried out with reports from the Hulu Langat Land Office, Kajang Municipal Council, Narajaya and Grand Saga.

At a press conference later, the surveyor said he needed a few more days to prepare the report and it would be ready soon.

State Government is trying all their best to keep the road open for the best interest of the people. Will see how it goes on upcoming days. Good luck Mahkota Cheras residents...

Mahkota Cheras Residents' Great DAY

The new Selangor government is delivering their promises. Today, they opened a trunk road that blocked by Grand Saga Highway. Today marked a great day for Mahkota Cheras residents. I just called a friend who is at the trunk road today cheering as the bulldozer clearing the blockades. There are huge crowds mainly residents cheering as the new state government made their lives easier and cheaper.

* Mahkota Cheras has a trunk road built by developer to the Grand Saga Highway blocked by the Grand Saga as there are legal disputes on the road issues which is now a court issues.

* Former Road Minister, Datuk Seri Samy Vellu went to the site and basically did nothing to help the situation whereby it is taken to court to settle the issue

* New State Government claimed that the blockade is illegal and bulldoze it today at 10.00 am, 21st April 2008

* This trunk road access will save Mahkota Cheras residents 90 sen toll one way.

Fate or Faith?

You can say I'm dumb or even didn't pass my grades, but definitely I can differentiate fate or faith. I always believe in fate and has faith in my life, yet both has failed me lately. So which one should I blame? Fate or Faith? Or its just plain silly me. Yet again, at the lowest point of my life, I met an angel. Or should I say, Simply Angel.

*Don't blame me posting this up coz its around 2 am at the moment I'm writing this.

Meet AVRAM GRANT, the Chelsea FC Manager

What follows is a full transcription from ESPNsoccernet's Richard Jolly... After Chelsea's 1-0 win against Everton...

A deserved win Avram?
Grant said: 'Yes.'

What particularly pleased you about the performance?
'I'm pleased.'

What in particular pleased you?
After an eight second delay: 'I don't know.'

Is it a relief to win here?

You seem lost for words by the performance. Are you more satisfied with the performance or the victory?

You seem distracted. Do you have a problem?
'No problem.'

Is there an issue?
'No. I'm ok. I have nothing to say.'

Do you have a message for the Chelsea fans?
'You represent the Chelsea fans?'

They must believe you are still in the title race, do you have a message for them?
'No message.'

Does this result mean you are back in it now?
'I don't know.'

How many steps have you climbed to undertake this press conference?
'I don't know.'

You seem less voluble than usual. Is it because of Sky TV moving the game to a Thursday?
'Maybe it's because of you. I don't know. I am ok.'

You are saying that you don't know if you are still in the title race?
'No.' Is it easier to say nothing Avram?
'I don't what to answer. It is a good question. I don't know what to answer.'

Is this because of Sky?
'No. Sky is ok. I enjoy watching them.'

Is it a protest against newspapers?
'No. Why?'

Why else would you come in and refuse to answer our questions?
'I answer every question.'

You are two points behind Manchester United and you don't know if you are still in the title race?

Have you told the players that you don't know if you are back in the title race?
'What I tell the players is something else. You want me to tell you what I say to the players?'

We just want you to answer the question really. Are you in the title race?
'I don't know.'

Would you not like to gain some positive publicity for the result rather than this bizarre silence?
'I'm sorry. You can write whatever you want and I can answer what I want.'

Do you feel under pressure to deliver a trophy. Is that the reason for the monosyllabic answers?

Are you upset? Do you feel you have been misrepresented?
'Maybe I have said because it is a bad season.'

Did Michael Essien faint?
'He had some problems, but he is ok.'

Michael Ballack?

What's his problem?
'Ask the doctor.'

He's not here Avram.
'Well call him then.'

Have you ever played the yes/no game Avram?

Avram Grant, the Chelsea Manager, the King of "I Don't Know". I respect Jose Mourinho even he really had bad mouth but he was damn good at it. He is a masterpiece. Well, maybe he really don't know...

My dearest cousin got me something very addictive from OZ. Its not really about Arnott's Shapes or the Cheddar & Peppercorn. Its more about the poppy seeds. Also known as "kas kas" locally mainly for Indian foods or nasi kandar. Well anything about this is not fried, its baked. Another reason you can eat more stuffs like this right?

Torres HITS 30!

Torres hits his 30th goal for the first season for Liverpool. Liverpool defeated Blackburn 3-1 at Anfield. Liverpool clear 5 points off Everton. The fourth place is certain but the big ticket is still the Champions League. I personally think the issues surrounding Liverpool must be solved by this summer for any real threats for the title next season.

The Hard Gay Of Japan!

Interesting introduction from BBC which is quite RARE.

Hard Gay's very own MTV!

LIVERPOOL 4-2 ARSENAL: End Of Trilogy in Style!!

At this moment, I am speechless. The Gunners gunned out in style with one of best Champions League Games ever! I would never say Arsenal was weak but rather unlucky. The sequence of goals are like this Diaby scored first, equalised by Hypia (god knows how long he had scored the last CPL goal), then Torres (el-nino stunner), equalized by Adebayor (a pass from Walcott ala Maradona running down 3-4 defenders), Gerrard scored penalty (Toure controversially brought down Babel) and lastly the finale Ryan Babel solo efforts. I think I should stop here about this game.

Wait.. wait.. wait... You know the ironic of whats coming up next. Liverpool Vs. Chelsea CPL Semi Final. I would say this is Liverpool V Chelsea Part 3! The best part is, there is already one English team confirmed to the final. And the dream final for many football fans can be realized now... Liverpool Vs. Man Utd. Its up to Roma to destroy them tomorrow or let them pass. Its still early to say anything yet but football is always round! You never walk alone!

Liverpool held Arsenal for 1-1 draw for UEFA Champions League 1st Leg Quater Final at Emirates Stadium. Chelsea got TurkED Badly in Turkey losing 1-2 to Fenerbahce. I guess Chelsea is no longer invincible anymore under Israeli coach Grant. With Mourinho around, things might be different. Arsenal was frustrated and Liverpool will welcome them at Anfield.

Edison Sex Scandal Rumours Are BACK! Latest NEWS on April 1st?

When you think sometimes the story is dead, people will try to revive it at all cost. The above picture is rumored as "Niki Chow" from HK. For many reasons, this picture is most likely a fake. First of all, its not the same as the pictures from Edison from before. Secondly, it looks like Photoshop work to me. Furthermore, everyone trying hard to gain upperhand with such rumors. I might be wrong if the picture is true. But is the person really the artist it claims?
