A fellow blogger house got ROBBED by six Indonesians....

Just now, I read through some of the blogger's blog and found out one fellow blogger house got robbed by six Indonesians. Even though I never met them personally and not that close with them (2 sisters) the pictures horrified me. It took the police 45 MINUTES to reach their house. The injured father who fell down from second floor head first, the guard and the half-drunk cousin coming to their rescue battled six Indonesians for the safety of their family. The house equipped with CCTV and personal guard, but it is not enough to fend off 6 desperate Indonesian robbers. Thank god, the father is recovering with more than 50 stitches on his head. By the way, they beat up the maid as the maid risked her life saving the family.

I am devastated and moved by such incident. It happens in Gombak by the way. What I am trying to say is there is no safe place in Malaysia anymore? The police took 45 bloody minutes to come and rescue you. The pictures I saw horrified me, with blood everywhere as if like the battle scenes from the movie, 300. I am speechless now because I am not drama but thinking about the safety of myself and my family as well. By the way, the robbers are still at large. To the sisters, may god bless your family...

Marvel Legends Wave 3 (Updated)

The actual really looks nice with the packaging. I'm not a big fan of Marvel but getting this set is a must. Descriptions of the characters as below

Bucky Barnes: Initially Bucky inadvertently discovered Captain America’s dual identity. Rather than behead Bucky with his shield to preserve his secret, Captain America decided to initiate Bucky as a sidekick. Bucky was subsequently killed---although it was later decided that he was in fact claimed by the Russians and transformed into the Winter Soldier.

First Appearance Captain America: Captain America was a result of the Super Soldier serum---honed into a Nazi-annihilating human weapon and initially equipped with a patriotic-themed, triangular-shaped shield composed of a bulletproof alloy. Later on, Captain America would receive an updated costume and his stronger circular shield.

Answering to degenerate tyrants such as Baron Strucker, the HYDRA Soldier spends most of his time serving evil ends and coordinating with others to recapture the elusive Spider-Woman.

Colossus (X-Men: Last Stand Movie Version): Featuring a more austere black costume, Colossus has the ability to transform his entire body into living metal, which provides invulnerability against most attacks, physical or even supernatural, and drastically heightens his strength and endurance in the process.

Cyclops (Astonishing X-Men Costume): Cyclops has the ability to discharge concussive beams of force or heat from his eyes; he generates a constant mind field to keep the destructive force behind the eye blasts in check, and in this way he can block the beams by just shutting his eyes---although ultimately he requires his ruby visor.

Danger (Living embodiment of the X-Men's Danger Room): Danger is layered with sleekly curved scalloping metal plates, laced with exposed circuitry, and crowned by Medusean cable locks. Danger is the grim zenith of an elevating sentience on the part of the Danger Room---a final manifestation taking the semblance of a female super-robot.

It says it all, Limited Edition!! Its Region 3 and not Region 1. Disc 2 is nice with lots of backstage talking with Spielberg and Bay. There are so many reasons voiced out for the production of Transformers. No deleted scenes are detected so far. Quality is top class!

I bought myself a new Sony PSP Slim version lately and being addictive to it. You can understand my missing in action posts lately due to PSP addictions. I got myself a WWE SmackdownVsRaw2007 for around S$ 32. Dirt cheap and still playing the season with my own custom made player. I will back with more posts soon. :)

The Spanish Harlem Orchestra in Singapore International Salsa Festival

The Spanish Harlem Orchestra consists of 13 brilliant musicians and was founded in 2000. Their debut album was released in October of 2002 to immediate acclaim and worldwide recognition. In addition to winning Best New Artist at the 2003 Billboard Latin Music Awards, they were also nominated for a Grammy in 2002 for best Salsa Album Of The Year.

The best part is they performed at one of the nights. Basically we were dancing live with them. The dance floor was packed and they were awesome.

It is a different exposure. Much different than MSF. It was a great Salsa event. Backed by the Godfather of Salsa, Albert Torres with bands from Indonesia's Primavera All Stars and Grammy Award Winner Spanish Harlem Orchestra! There were so much training, you couldn't even walk after a day's routine. Workshop overshoot more than an hour and the night party is madness. The performances are top class and I can't wait for next year's event!

A Quiet Wet Raya...

This might be the first time it happened to me. Sincerely I must say, this year's Raya is very quiet. The days toward Raya is totally dead, nothing much spectacular I should say, overshadowed by the Angkasawan story. On top of that, we are on the 9th month of Chinese Calendar means raining month so we are getting a lot of wet days and flash floods. I was told next year's Raya will be Oct 1-2. Much earlier than this year. No matter how, I wish we could have a merrier Raya and of course the kids can visit other people to get duit raya on sunny Raya as well. Selamat Hari Raya and I'm proud to be in this lovely country, MALAYSIA....

This is really something from the past I manage to recover. Japanese series Yu yu hakusho rare holo cards. They are not to be found anywhere anymore even on ebay. I am glad that I am manage to keep good hands on this collection with a few more which I will post it in the next few days.
