Like it or not, its RM 2.70. A 78 sen increase which makes about 40% increase. Electricity bills will shoot up 18% for home and 26% for business.... More about the news, HERE.
When the petrol increased 20-30 sen last time around, food prices went up as well. This goes to groceries and electricity and even water bills. If this time around at 78 sen, how much damage it will affect the nation. Just think about it wisely....
If you want to compare with Singapore, makes the transportation system as good as Singapore so the people needn't to drive at all! Then you can compare. Don't compare for the sake of comparing... One who takes a bus needs at least 3 hours earlier to make the trip to work in Kuala Lumpur. I don't know how much things will go up but one thing for sure... There will be a huge inflation...

Hey, nice post on this one. I was reading blogs and bump into yours. Seriously I think the damage done is unbearable, all the more with the public transportation in M'sia being so uncertain.
