ATG Broadcast, Digistar complete HD-ready broadcast center for Astro All Asia Networks
ATG Broadcast has completed a comprehensive rebuild of the Astro All Asia Broadcast Center (AABC) for Astro All Asia Networks in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A new suite of operational areas has been constructed, and the station architecture has been re-engineered to provide resilience and easier future expansion capabilities. Looks like the question for the first HD TV station has been answered. Malaysians might be able to watch HD quality video after all. Of course, one should have at least a 40" LCD TV for Full HD capacity. When will Astro roll their HD services? I think it would take some time... as most people has yet to own a LCD TV....
